HIGH-MOUNTAIN TRAVERSE OF THE SIERRA NEVADA’S 3000M PEAKS

We begin in the villlage of Jerez del Marquesado. From 1800m we ascend the Picón de Jerez (3090m),

our first peak over 3000m. From there, the route follows a crest, remaining always above 3000m with

impressive views until we reach our camp spot, the “Lagunas de las Calderetas”
